Show full assessmentShow less

This market clearly defines resolution based on whether the Denver Nuggets win the 2026-27 NBA championship, relying on official NBA information. Participants should note the early resolution rule, which resolves the market to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from contention. Additionally, if the season is delayed past June 30, 2027 without a declared champion, the market resolves to Other rather than waiting indefinitely. An alphabetical tie-break rule exists in the improbable event of shared championship titles.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Denver Nuggets will be declared the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. An unusual condition resolves the market alphabetically if multiple champions are declared.

How it resolves

The market resolves to Yes if the Denver Nuggets are determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if another team wins or if it becomes impossible for the Denver Nuggets to be named champion per NBA rules, such as through elimination. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed beyond June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that time. The resolution source is official information from the NBA, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
