This market clearly defines winning the 2026-27 NBA championship as the sole criterion for a positive resolution. Note that the market allows early resolution to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated or unable to win under league rules. In the event the season is delayed past June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET without a champion, the market specifies resolution to Other rather than Yes or No. The primary resolution source is official league information, with reporting consensus serving as an allowable backup.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Dallas Mavericks win the 2026-27 NBA championship. Notably, the market includes an alphabetical tie-breaker if multiple champions are declared, and resolves to Other if no champion is declared by June 30, 2027.

How it resolves

The market resolves to Yes if the Dallas Mavericks are determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the Mavericks do not win, or if it becomes impossible for them to be named champion per NBA rules, such as upon elimination. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that deadline. The resolution source is official NBA information or a consensus of credible reporting.
