The outcome is clearly defined by whether the Miami Heat win the 2026-27 NBA Championship according to official NBA information or credible reporting consensus. Positions can resolve early to No as soon as the team is mathematically or officially eliminated from contention. Additionally, if the season is cancelled, prolonged, or a champion is not determined by June 30, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, the market is specified to resolve to Other rather than Yes or No. An unusual tiebreaker clause also exists stating that if multiple champions are declared, resolution favors whichever team is first alphabetically.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Miami Heat will win the 2026-27 NBA championship. Resolution includes an alphabetical tiebreaker if multiple teams are declared winners, and resolves to Other if no champion is crowned by June 30, 2027.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Miami Heat are determined as the NBA champion for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if another team wins or if it becomes impossible for the Miami Heat to win the championship per NBA rules, such as being eliminated from contention. The market resolves to Other if the season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if a champion is not declared by that time. Official information from the NBA decides resolution, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
