Gotcha risk — resolution-rule assessment
Show less
The rules clearly specify the conditions required for resolution: the individual must secure a vote of confidence from the Congress of Deputies and be formally sworn in to form a new government. Explicit exclusions are made for interim or caretaker leaders who do not pass a confidence vote. The market has a clear deadline of March 31, 2028, resolving to Other if no qualified individual assumes office by then. While secondary reliance on a consensus of reporting introduces minor discretion, the primary resolution relies directly on official information from the Government of Spain.
