The rules clearly define what constitutes a win and identify specific major news organizations to call the race. If there is no consensus among the three designated media outlets, resolution safely defaults to the official state certification. A long backstop date of July 31, 2027, is provided in the event results are delayed or contested, resolving to Other if unconfirmed by then.
