The resolution criteria track standard sports championship outcomes directly. The market resolves early to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from contention. A specific cutoff date of June 30, 2027, is provided, resolving to Other if the season is postponed past that point or cancelled. Official information from the NHL serves as the primary decider with reporting consensus available as a fallback.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
