The market straightforwardly resolves based on whether the Vegas Golden Knights win the 2026-27 NHL championship according to official NHL information, with credible reporting available as a backup. Holders should note specific operational clauses: the market resolves early to No as soon as the team is mathematically or competitively eliminated from winning the title, and resolves to an Other outcome if the season is cancelled, postponed, or undecided past June 30, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Vegas Golden Knights win the NHL Stanley Cup Championship for the 2026-27 season. An unusual rule specifies that if multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors whichever team's name comes first alphabetically.

How it resolves

This market resolves to Yes if the Vegas Golden Knights are determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. This market resolves to No if the Vegas Golden Knights are not determined as champion, or if it becomes impossible for them to win at any point (such as through elimination). This market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that deadline. The deciding source is official information from the NHL, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
