This market resolves based on the official champion of the 2026-27 NHL season, primarily verified by official NHL information with a secondary fallback to a consensus of credible reporting. The rules allow early resolution to No as soon as the team is mathematically or officially eliminated from championship contention. There is also an explicit deadline of June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, after which cancellation or a lack of a declared champion triggers resolution to Other rather than Yes or No. An alphabetical tiebreaker exists if multiple co-champions are named, though this is rare in professional hockey.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup Championship. Notably, if multiple teams are declared champions, tiebreaking defaults alphabetically, and the market resolves to "Other" if no champion is determined by June 30, 2027.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Toronto Maple Leafs are determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared champions, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the team is not named champion, including immediately if the team is eliminated or it becomes impossible to win under NHL rules. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed beyond June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that time. Resolution is decided using official information from the NHL or a consensus of credible reporting.
