The market straightforwardly resolves based on whether the Seattle Kraken win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup according to official league information or credible consensus reporting. Participants should note two specific procedural rules: the market can resolve to No early as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from contention, and if the season is delayed past June 30, 2027 without a declared champion, the market resolves to Other rather than waiting indefinitely.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Seattle Kraken will be determined as the NHL champion for the 2026-27 season. Notably, if multiple winners are declared, resolution favors the team whose name comes first alphabetically, and the market resolves to Other if no champion is declared by the June 30, 2027 cutoff.

How it resolves

The market resolves to Yes if the Seattle Kraken are determined as the NHL champion for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if a champion is not declared by that time.
