This market follows standard sports championship criteria, resolving based on official NHL information with credible reporting as a secondary source. Participants should be aware of the early resolution clause, which allows the market to resolve to No as soon as the team is mathematically or competitively eliminated from winning the title. Additionally, if the season is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, or no champion is crowned by that date, the market resolves to Other rather than remaining open indefinitely.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Pittsburgh Penguins will win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup Championship. Resolution includes an alphabetical tiebreaker if multiple winners are declared, as well as a specific deadline triggering an Other resolution.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Pittsburgh Penguins are determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if another team wins or if it becomes impossible for the Penguins to win per NHL rules, such as through elimination.
