The outcome depends straightforwardly on whether the New York Rangers win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup. Resolution primarily relies on official NHL announcements, with consensus reporting available as a secondary reference. Key mechanics include early resolution to No as soon as the team is mathematically or officially eliminated from winning the championship. Additionally, if the season is canceled, not completed, or postponed beyond June 30, 2027, the market resolves to Other rather than Yes or No, and an alphabetical tiebreak applies if multiple champions are declared.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
