This market resolves to Yes if the Montreal Canadiens win the 2026-27 NHL championship, with resolution primarily relying on official NHL information and a fallback to credible media consensus. Holders should note that the market will resolve early to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from contention. Additionally, if the season is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or no champion is crowned by that time, the market resolves to Other rather than remaining open or resolving to No. An alphabetical tie-break rule also applies in the unlikely event that multiple champions are named.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Montreal Canadiens will win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup championship. An unusual feature is an alphabetical tie-breaker rule if multiple champions are declared, as well as a specific deadline triggering an Other resolution.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Montreal Canadiens are determined as the NHL champion for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the team is eliminated, becomes impossible to win under NHL rules, or is not declared champion. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or no champion is declared within that timeframe. Official information from the NHL or a consensus of credible reporting decides the outcome.
