Show full assessmentShow less

This market follows straightforward sports championship resolution mechanics based on official NHL outcomes. It includes an early resolution trigger resolving to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from winning the Stanley Cup. A hard deadline of June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET will cause the market to resolve to Other if the season is cancelled, postponed, or unfinished by that time. An alphabetical tiebreaker exists if multiple co-champions are declared, but the resolution criteria are overall clear and unambiguous.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Minnesota Wild will win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup championship. Unusual provisions include an alphabetical tiebreaker if multiple winners are declared and a resolution to Other if the champion is not determined by a specific cutoff date.

How it resolves

The market resolves to Yes if the Minnesota Wild is determined as the NHL champion for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the Minnesota Wild is not the champion, or immediately once it becomes impossible for them to win per NHL rules, such as upon elimination. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if a champion is not declared by that time. The resolution source is official NHL information or a consensus of credible reporting.
