This market resolves to Yes if the Detroit Red Wings win the 2026-27 NHL championship and No otherwise. Participants should note that the market can resolve early to No as soon as the team is officially eliminated from championship contention. If multiple winners are declared, an alphabetical tiebreaker determines the outcome, and if the season is cancelled, postponed, or unresolved past June 30, 2027, the market resolves to Other rather than Yes or No. Official NHL announcements serve as the primary source, though credible reporting is permitted as a secondary reference.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Detroit Red Wings will be named the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup Champion. Resolution includes a tiebreaker rule favoring alphabetical order if multiple winners are declared, and a specific cutoff date after which an unresolved season resolves to Other.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Detroit Red Wings are determined to be the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if another team is crowned champion or if it becomes impossible for the Detroit Red Wings to win, such as upon elimination. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that deadline. The resolution source is official information from the NHL, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
