The outcome is clearly defined as winning the NHL championship for the 2026-27 season. The rules specify early resolution to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated or unable to win under league rules. Official NHL information serves as the primary resolution source, with credible reporting permitted as a backup. A firm deadline of June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET dictates that any unresolved, postponed, or cancelled season resolves to Other rather than Yes or No, and an alphabetical tie-breaker applies if co-champions are named.

Resolution rules
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained
This market measures whether the Columbus Blue Jackets will win the 2026-27 NHL Stanley Cup championship. If multiple champions are declared, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
How it resolves
The market resolves to Yes if the Columbus Blue Jackets are determined as the NHL champion for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of whichever team name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the Columbus Blue Jackets are not named champion or if it becomes mathematically or rule-wise impossible for them to win, such as elimination. The market resolves to Other if the season is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if no champion is declared by that deadline. The resolution is decided by official information from the NHL or a consensus of credible reporting.
