The resolution criteria are straightforward, relying primarily on official NHL declarations to identify the champion of the 2026-27 season. Participants should note the early resolution clause, which allows the market to resolve to No as soon as the team is mathematically eliminated from contention. Additionally, there is a strict deadline of June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET; if the season is delayed beyond that point or cancelled without a champion, the market resolves to Other rather than waiting indefinitely. While official NHL information is the primary source, the rules permit resolving via a consensus of credible reporting if necessary.

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
