Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Market explained

This market measures whether the Chicago Blackhawks will be declared the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. An unusual provision includes resolving to an "Other" outcome if the season is cancelled or delayed beyond the stated deadline, and an alphabetical tiebreaker if multiple winners are declared.

How it resolves

The market resolves to Yes if the Chicago Blackhawks are determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. If multiple teams are declared winners, resolution favors the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The market resolves to No if the team is not named champion, or if it becomes impossible for them to win per NHL rules, such as through elimination. The market resolves to Other if the event is cancelled, postponed past June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, or if a champion is not declared within that timeframe. Official information from the NHL or a consensus of credible reporting decides the outcome.
